The Hunger Games: Songbirds and Snakes is a deep dive into the antagonist’s backstory, however, one of the biggest questions of the movie is ‘Why did Lucy-Gray Baird leave Snow?’
If you watched the movie, you’d know Lucy-Gray Baird, whom I will refer to as Lucy-Gray for the rest of the post, had somewhat of a romantic relationship with Snow, the antagonist of The Hunger Games. The main reason why others think Lucy-Gray betrayed Snow was because Snow was portrayed as a person who would partake in lies and deceit. In the movie, Lucy-Gray said she couldn’t tolerate lies, however, one simple lie wouldn’t make a person completely ghost someone else. Did she really just see one red flag and dip?
I will be doing some digging to *hopefully* find an answer to Lucy-Gray’s mysterious actions.
